Fiddle

Before I ever stood at a podium, I was on a stage with a fiddle in hand and a love for music that’s been with me since I was a kid. I’ve been playing for over 20 years and while I was classically trained through my teens, I found my true voice in the raw edges of Americana ballads, bluegrass, Willie n’ Waylon, and the kind of tunes that feel like home and heartache all at once.

In 2017, I joined Olympia-based band Straw Hat Revival; a hard-driving roots band that quickly became a regional staple in the Pacific Northwest. We played everything from festivals to morning news shows, and historic venues like The Seasons Performance Hall. Along the way, we shared bills with acts like Kuinka, Never Come Down, Hillstomp, Trout Steak Revival, Lowest Pair, The Pine Hearts, Driftwood, and Grammy Award-winning artists The Nell & Jim Band. We even played alongside Hot Club Sandwich, whose recordings have featured legendary mandolinist, David Grisman. One of my favorite moments? When Matchless Brewing named a beer after us, Straw Hat Ryevival IPA.

In 2021, I joined Them Badgers; an Olympia-based, part-country, part-punk folk band with a loyal following and a taste for the road. With Them Badgers, I’ve played everywhere from Montana dive bars to New Orleans mansions and Alaskan roadhouses, sharing stages with artists like Lavender Country, Tune-Yards, Jake Wesley Rogers, The Moss, Sub-Radio, Sunny War, Annie DiRusso, Skating Polly, Clyde McGee of Bridge City Sinners, and The Peculiar Pretzelmen.

These days, you’ll find me playing with local bands, teaching lessons, and performing everywhere from farmers markets to regional festivals. My style lives somewhere between precision and soul; rooted in technique, but driven by instinct, improvisation, and a deep respect for tradition.

Current Bands

The Canyoneros

Classic country dance band.

Pygmy Rabbit

Pygmy Rabbit is an internationally unrecognized string band from Ellensburg, Washington. Formed in 2025, the group specializes in folk, country, Americana, questionable decisions, and the occasional song everyone somehow knows all the words to.

Featuring guitar, mandolin, bass, and fiddle (most of the time), Pygmy Rabbit has mastered the delicate art of looking like they have a plan while making it up as they go. Setlists are treated more like gentle suggestions and genres are optional.

Hop on in. We promise absolutely nothing except good music, epic jokes, and at least one accidental key change.

Rodeo City Bluegrass Concern (RCBC)

RCBC is a bluegrass band based in Central Washington. Blending traditional bluegrass with classic country, RCBC performs regularly throughout Central WA for concerts, community events, and local venues. You can also catch them every first and third Thursday of the month at The Mule Cocktail Bar in Ellensburg, WA.
